The Cherry Bakewell tart evolved from the Bakewell Pudding in the 20th century. These elegant tarts were named after the town of Bakewell, located in the north of England.
*Please note that between the months of September and April (out of cherry season), a glace cherry will be used rather than a fresh cherry.
